Prayer of the Faithful — June–26-2022 — for St. Paul Cathedral
{C} Let us pray for Pope Francis, and for his intention: that Christian families around the world may they embody and experience unconditional love and advance in holiness in their daily lives; We pray to you, Lord.
{2} We pray for our Shepherd,Bishop Paul Terrio, for the laity of the Diocese of St. Paul, for Fr. Peter Tran, Fr. Ambrose; and for the retired priests of the diocese and for all the priests who have served us over the years; We pray to you, Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.
{3} Let us pray for victims of violence,for our brothers and sisters in need of our moral support; [ and for Dale, Ruth, Bentley, Jaminah, Christina, . Kaylee, Louise, Rose, Alain, Benoit, Yvette, David, and Joe ] ; We pray to you, Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.
{4} We pray for vocations to lay ministry, for all who minister to us, and for all the volunteers and ministers in our parish; We pray to you, Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.
{5} Let us pray for dating and engaged couples preparing for a life-long marriage, and for the example of faithful commitment given to us by all married couples; We pray to you, Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.
{6} We pray for all who die alone, without the support of loved ones, for our ministry to the dying; [ for Raymonde Chamberlain, Bernard Malo, Jeannette Ozga, and Thomas Lamontagne ] ; We pray to you, Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.
{7} Let us pray for a spirituality of journeying together: that we may be formed as disciples of Christ, as families, as communities, and as human beings, through our experience of this Synodal journey; We pray to you, Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.
{8} For Catholic Education in Alberta: that our Catholic schools may always receive their identity from the teachings of Christ Jesus; We pray to you, Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.
{9} We pray for the issues we face this week, for the people of Ukraine, for students completing another school year, and for our personal and family intentions; We pray to you, Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.
